My aunt was paying for 24/7 care for our father that had just had a major surgery. There tasks were to clean, do laundry, help with hygiene and basic medical care tasks. My brother and I simply couldn't be there 24/7. These ladies did nothing. One night my dad found one of them sleeping on his bathroom floor. They basically sat around all day playing on their phones. If you need any sort of actual care, avoid this place! You're better off hiring someone privately that will actually care for your family member.

Booked Nurse Next Door Hamilton to take care of my 88 year old mom who has fractured her spine. While my brother and I tried to give care we can’t make it everyday. We asked for simple care… show up, make sure she eats (we supplied food) that’s it. Two hours. I sent a schedule and bought a lock box with a key. If there were 10 stars to give then I would have chose that. The staff at this company are so professional, punctual and efficient. My father was extremely well cared for and the caregivers we had visit felt like part of the family. I feel it’s so important that when you are dealing with patients with dementia that there be consistency and that’s what we had from Nurse Next Door.
