I have worked in residential care for over 10 years and decided to make the change to community. I have now worked for NND for nearly 2 years and absolutely love it. Management are so approachable and supportive in my role working in community. I feel supported 100% to make the client’s experience unique and fulfilling to them. I have been with working with Nurse Next Door for 1.5 year now. As new graduate nurse, I was a bit worried to work in the community, but always feel supported by the clinical and management team. My schedule is made around my availability and the area manager always tries her best to make it happen for last minute changes. Having worked with NND from the beginning as a support worker, I have had the privilege of watching them grow; and continue to do so. The management team have always been approachable and open to ideas. Their ability to find quality care staff, with varying degrees of experience and backgrounds, is outstanding. We engaged the services of Nurse Next Door Gold Coast in January this year to assist my elderly mother with her recovery from major surgery. The level of service and care that my elderly mother received from Lauren, Julie and her wonderful team of nurses, was second to none.
