Counsellor Suzanna Mullenneaux argued with our son trying to change his perspective and believed she was right instead of listening and offering a safe space. When he stated she was not hearing him she said she didn’t want to argue with him. She was not there for our son. I would ask your child deep questions about her counseling to find out if she is doing the same. Negating someone’s feelings is abusive.
