I feel really fortunate to have such a wonderful primary care doctor and team. Dr. Gouveia’s nurses and staff are always friendly, kind, and considerate. Whether it’s taking blood, calling me about my labs, or just passing on info for the doctor, I feel like the office runs really professionally and efficiently and with genuine care all around. Dr. Gouveia was listed as “in network” when I was searching for a provider through the UHC portal. I scheduled an appointment and provided my insurance information, the young lady the scheduled my appointment told me that my insurance was accepted, I waited a month for the appointment just for them to call the day of (today) and tell me that my insurance isn’t accepted. 9/6/2024 Dr Gouveia has done it again! At times, there are no words to describe the excellent care a physician can provide, even with short notice. A situation arose where I needed to reschedule a "much needed " appointment at short notice to my doctor.'s office. Dr.Gouveia, who is always concerned about her patients welfare, worked with her staff and my personal schedule, to set up a Telehealth appointment with me that same afternoon.
