I feel really fortunate to have such a wonderful primary care doctor and team. Dr. Gouveia’s nurses and staff are always friendly, kind, and considerate. Whether it’s taking blood, calling me about my labs, or just passing on info for the doctor, I feel like the office runs really professionally and efficiently and with genuine care all around. Dr. Gouveia was listed as “in network” when I was searching for a provider through the UHC portal. I scheduled an appointment and provided my insurance information, the young lady the scheduled my appointment told me that my insurance was accepted, I waited a month for the appointment just for them to call the day of (today) and tell me that my insurance isn’t accepted. This has been a huge inconvenience to me and my health and I hope that their front desk staff is trained in detail on what insurance plans are actually accep... read more
