Dr. Vora. A year and a half ago I was super impressed by his work. I have hashimoto disease. New Doctor concerned about bloodwork, sent referral to Vora to follow up, and the GP was basically sent a Dear John letter of which he read me and told me to contact Dr. Vora's office to sort out. So I call twice to Vora's office and first get a "call back next week" so I did, then get a secretary who was so obstructive and unhelpful it was stunning. I can't get in for my first consult for 9 months! Luckily not life threatening!
Dr Vora is honest, empathetic, kind and friendly. I was surprised to find that he respects my decision on health care. After all, it is my body and I should be able to make my own choices with regards to care and medicines. He advised me on what to look out for in the future and health care requirements that may be needed. It was refreshing to find someone in the medical profession who was supportive and understanding. Had to see a different Endo for a different issue. It's a complex issue involving multiple organs so I have been bounced back and forth to nearly a dozen of them trying to work out what's happening over the years. Got a referral to Zimmerman for a completely seperate issue. Clearly detailed in the referral. Both myself and my wife called about the referral/appointment.
