I absolutely loved my provider. When I missed two appointments, I apologized, and tried to rectify the situation but I was dropped and given to another provider. It was totally my fault that I missed the two appointments! I was able to make two more appointments with my provider and wasn’t able to attend them because of my unpaid balance after our secondary insurance was canceled and I didn’t have the money for the rest. Do not go here if you are seeking good, thorough care. The providers are inept and incapable of providing good care if you are anything but an "easy" case. The office manager even told me so and I quote that they are here only for the "easy stuff". The receptionists are both rude and have hung up on me. My last visit there they told me they are no longer going to provide any further care for me.
Be careful of choosing to receive care here. Initially I had an excellent provider who has able to help me but she eventually left due to management issues and the next two providers I received care under were too "afraid" to prescribe the medicine that had been helping me. Finally when they told me they would no longer prescribe it I asked my primary care to prescribe it - which they did. I soon received notice from Nunn Psychiatric that they would no longer see me since I was seeking help elsewhere. It is a pitiful shame w... read more
RESPONSE TO NUNN'S RESPONSE: It's quite laughable that you disclosed how long I have not been with you guys even though it's been less than a year, that you claim to document your policies which is something that is an industry standard, and that you claimed you didn't end care abruptly when in fact you did despite prescribing policies in place by the state to protect patients, but then throw in HIPPA and how you weren't going to respond but did. I had four children receiving psychiatric care and medication management at this office. Three were previously discharged due to alleged “no-show” appointments that I was never notified about. Now my fourth child has also been discharged for the same reason. After reviewing my calendar, several of the dates they claim were missed do not match the records I have.
