The staff was horrible. After I verified his office with my insurance provider and I informed the staff of everything they still set me up for an appointment. Once I got there Cindy was her name took one look at my card and literally handed it back and said we don't take this. I informed her of the measures taken before scheduling appointment and for her to call the insurance company yo verify proper billing and she refused to do so. Terrible experience with Dr. Nuñez. Always rushed, doesn’t take the time to explain options, what you’re comfortable with, nothing. He also said I was gaining too much weight. He asked if my family thought I was cute if I was fat?! Each visit felt like I was being probed. He also asked for $10,000 up front which we paid out of pocket and he didn’t even deliver our baby. Just a horrible experience.
I have already been a patient of Dr Nunez through my pregnancy and this is my 7th month. Always thought he was a great doctor (a bit rushed all the time) but overall "ok". The staff though, is horrible. The lady in the lab area is really rude when not in a good mood , and the MA's in the front are very unprofessional and uncoordinated . I had a checkup this week and I've been having a check up every week for the last 3 the last 2 were for labs and this last one that was today for my glucose monitoring results.
