Jess did color on my hair and a cut. She is a genius with layered color and highlights. I had dyed red hair. Great conversation and clear knowledge on keeping hair strong while achieving the inspo pic.

Carson has been cutting my hair for years. No one does it better! She can make my straight, fine, long hair seem like it has body and shape! Miracle worker. And she is a lovely person to share time in the chair with.

After a bit of a glow-down at another salon, I caught an unflattering glimpse of myself in a window while on a walk at the sculpture park, and called Nuevo on the off chance they had a cancellation while I was in the area. Most happily I was able to fill a scheduling gap with the inimitable Carson, who is a hair whisperer. Jess at Nuevo is an expert colorist and stylist - the best of both worlds! She listens to you and confers well. Excellent at her craft, and Nuevo is lucky to have her. The salon is open and inviting, w/ large street side windows and pretty tree views, tall ceilings, and a nice coffee/tea bar setup - I encourage you to book an appointment at Nuevo. The owner Michael and another stylist/colorist (Carson) are also great.

Carson been my hairstylist for years! She’s such a down to earth, caring person and very professional. She listens and works with me when I tell her what hairstyle I want and it always looks great even as it grows out until my next haircut. Highly recommend Carson.
