We had lunch at NUE on Sat Oct 10; absolutely 5 star service & food. My husband and I shared the Filipino Tosilog and the South African Bunny Chow. Both of these dishes were exceptional - full of flavor, perfect amount of spice, fill you up without weighing you down. Our server (we *think we remember her name, Lauren), was exceptional. Funny, charming, clearly knew the food & menu well. All around perfect meal.
Our server took our order without a notepad, and the cook turned out our feast fast. All of it was just what I'd hoped for the evening.
This was our first time here and we loved it.
Place has a Street like grungy atmosphere. It would be nice if the waitresses and waiters were a little bit more attentive and you didn’t have to flag them down. Food was good. The butter board was disappointed because it was so tiny and the bread was minimal. Wings were delicious and beautifully arranged. Can’t say I liked much of the curry in a bread bowl. It needed more flavoring.
