Had brakes done by NuBrakes and a caliper bolt was left out on the rear, which caused some damage down the line. That part wasn’t great. But their warranty team handled it about as well as I could ask. I submitted a claim with documentation from the shop that diagnosed it, and they approved the repair and the diagnostic fee within a couple of hours. STAY AWAY. While the technician was great and the work was smooth they use parts built to fail. $10 extra dollars per pad would last infinitely longer. I changed my pads 9mo ago. Van is already throwing a code for a change. My previous break pads lasted YEARS. As in I have driven aback and forth across this country doing Van life…and they lasted years. Do your research. There is a huge delta in quality of pads and services like this are notorious for going cheep.
My technician Mike did SUCH a great job. He arrived right on time & was so kind and friendly. He noticed and fixed an issue multiple mechanics had missed in the past that was causing my brakes to wear out too quickly. He got the job done in 30 minutes and I paid almost exactly what I was quoted- which was over $600 CHEAPER than the last time I got the exact same repair done at a shop.
