Went for a routine follow up check with our newborn and the doc was friendly and talked quite a bit but unfortunately more about politics and economics than about our baby. She complained about the current administration and the state of the health system and how everyone is just referring you and finding things just to make money. Only to then make a referral, and write a prescription which we both found out later were completely unnecessary. We ended up canceling the next follow up and won’t go back.
I'm thankful I found Dr. DeCambre! My 6-yr-old son needed major surgery for an undescended testicle (other complications popped up after exams). She was thorough during the 1 hr consultation and ordered a 2nd ultrasound, xray and blood work before surgery in Nov. 2024. This was a 2nd opinion and let me tell you, the 1st doc only did a physical exam before scheduling a surgery date. Yesterday, we went for the follow up exam and she said everything looked great. We were referred to Dr. Decambre by my son’s pediatrician. I’m so happy with the level of care he’s received and how detailed each explanation has been for each diagnoses. The doctor could sense my hesitation to jump to surgery so alternative treatments were suggested. She was patient with my 1 year old as he is a bit uneasy at doctor appointments. I have had multiple AMAZING experiences with Dr. Decambre. She is personable, thorough and caring. My son had a successful procedure and recovery. Dr. Decambre made herself available for questions and did not judge a new mom who was SUPER nervous. I will always recommend her!
She does excellent work with Children , a great doctor!
