I had a frustrating experience trying to get an electrical inspection/report for Hamilton’s rental licensing requirements. I was quoted $1000+HST. I also obtained multiple quotes from other licensed electricians for the same type of “general inspection + report/letter,” and they were in the ~$200–$400 range (one was $375 for the entire house) without the same add-ons being presented as mandatory. This company just did work at my apartment while I wasn’t home and not only left my apartment door wide open, but left the front door wide open as well on cannon street. Is common sense dead?
