I don't know what the place was like years ago, but they are purely awesome now. I am very picky about where I take my cars, and I know how to diagnose and work on most car trouble - just don't have the time, tools or real estate. These guys are honest, dependable and reliable. Mechanics can only work with what they've got - if your car is a raggedy rust bucket, it's not getting restored, But if you need moderate repairs (A/C, radiator, tune-up, alignment, brakes, hoses, gaskets, timing) this is the place to go.
NTB on Capital blvd is terrible. I took my truck up there a week ago to have my tires rotated, the did not balance or align my truck. took it back today for an alignment, and they broke my wheel key and CHRIS act as if it was my problem. there was guy 2 weeks ago with a Dodge Ram that they had to buy a new hubcap for. so many problems at this location.
RUDE! SLEAZY, ESPECIALLY JIMMY, SVC MGR – I went to this location based on a coupon I purchased over the holidays. The coupon seemed to be a too good to be true" deal but I validated it by called this store. I went in for my "free" oil change and they talked me into new tires; well they didn't have the brand I preferred so they "highly recommended" a much higher cost set of tires. How many chances do you give a place before you move on... – I bought a 3 year alignment plan from NTB as the BMW shop near by recommended them b/c thats where they send their cars for alignment. I bought 4 tires, upgraded my suspension and springs and brought it to Capital to have it aligned. They left the driver side hardware loose and let me leave this way. After visits to 2 other shops we discovered that nuts were only finger tight on the driver side and that the wheel should have fell off. This ruined my new tires becau... read more
New Tires and Wheels...BEWARE! – I had a complete set of brand new tires and brand new rims put on my car by this particular NTB. In a word, it was a nightmare! It took four days for them to get it right...but I will say to their credit, they get 4 stars for effort. I would've given them 5 stars, but they only get four because it took four days and manager intervention for them to make it right. The first set of tires and rims made my car vibrate horribly.
