Today we stopped in the small east Kansas town of Iola to visit the NSA RV Towing Products assembly plant. We have had their Ready Brute Elite II tow bar with Ready Brake for four years towing our Jeep over 60,000 miles. They took our tow bar to their shop and disassembled it, serviced all the mechanisms, replaced several worn parts, reassembled and reinstalled the unit all at no cost as a warranty repair. Impressive service!
The NSA surge brake tow hitch is a good product. Installation is not particularly difficult, but does require some thought and care. Cables to the brake pedal can be mounted in a direct path from bumper to firewall in addition to the specified looped route. Routing needs to avoid contact with exhaust pipes, even with the use of the supplied heat protection tubing.
