SCAM: I signed up to be an NRG customer via the pushy sales guy at Menards. The price per Kw looked much cheaper than my current provider (AEP). However, that CHEAPER PRICE WAS ONLY TEMPORARY. Much like a cable company, they lured me in with the low price and by the time I realized I was out of promotional period they jacked their price up to more than 4 TIMES HIGHER THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING AT AEP in the first place.
