Out of this world - seriously - experience. Consider those very large, sensitive devices being Earth's ears to the Universe, ready to spot any mysterious signal from other potential civilization. We went there after hours, when Visitor Center was closed. But still enjoyed the place during sunset hour.
I’m sure it’s an amazing experience & I want to come back someday! My frustration was the walking tour had construction areas you weren’t allowed in. Through no fault of the staff, Mother Nature was blowing so hard you could barely walk! Jodi Foster narrating the video was pretty cool!
For the nerds in our family! We loved it. Got to explore some science stuff for the little engineer. Staff were friendly and the visitor facilities were clean and well maintained. Bring water. Most of everything is outdoors. It was very interesting!
