Delivered my first baby healthily. I was high risk and I had no issues. I was advised of the risk and was advised on multiple precautionary measures. Thank you!
Going to my 29 week appointment not knowing my blood pressure was 177/110. Sent to the hospital later that night I was diagnosed with pre eclampsia w/ Severe Features and was told that I would have to have a C-Section the next day. I cried all night knowing my baby would be premature. Dr. Phillips talked to me for a while, prayed over me and my baby that night and before surgery. My experience was very different from the reviews — trust your instincts I chose this practice because the reviews were so positive, but my experience was very different. I’m sharing this so other moms don’t doubt themselves the way I did. My prenatal appointments were always extremely short, with very little discussion or education as I would expect from a midwife.
