Overheated and a broken drive belt, my vehicle broke down at 2 PM. Not being familiar with the area, a local resident (previous mechanic) suggested I call Noyes Automotive for assistance. The car was towed to the repair shop just before 3 PM and I was informed around 4 PM that my car was all set for a pick up. Brought my car in for a funky steering issue. After a diag it looked like my steering rack was cracked. I was originally quoted 2k for a replacement, and multiple other mechanics confirmed that that was a normal price for such a big job. As I was just about to accept my fate and dig into my savings, I got a call from one of the service advisors I believe who told me to talk to Subaru about a potential extended warranty on the part.
