My experience with Dr. Goodman was extremely disappointing. During my appointment, he relied on outdated information and stereotypes about ADHD, telling me it was impossible for me to have ADHD because of my age, my grades, and the fact that I had graduated from college. Very strange experience here. On the advice of my GP, reached out to them to try to get an appointment to discuss a specific medical issue. Instead, they offered me "testing" for $1300 - $2500 -- out of pocket only! I asked if I could consult with someone before committing to this expense. The answer was no. Dr. Goodman should not be practicing. When I described executive dysfunction he told me that its not executive dysfunction its "enaction with an e" I googled that, it is not at all what I was describing. I was describing executive dysfunction. Also if you ask about ADHD the first thing he asks is how your grades are. I am a doctoral psych student so I know this is outdated information he is going by. I came here in desperate need of help around 10 years ago to the same two people who run the show here currently. My sessions with Ellen left me feeling so bad about myself that I drove to the nearest ER after one session because of suicidal ideation. She blamed me for everything wrong in my life and did nothing to helping me fix what was wrong. Dr. Goodman has very old, outdated and unnecessary testing methods.
