Great place to train in Amador County, clean facility and a good culture. Coach Rob goes beyond just technique, but explains application and theory, with a focus on self defense and winning fights.
We walked into Novus Jiu-jitsu almost a year ago. We talked to Coach Rob and his wife Melissa on why we would like our daughter to do jiu-jitsu. We wanted her to learn self defense. They offered our kids a free 5 day trial to see if its what we were looking for. My kids loved it and we have been going ever since. Our kids range in ages and personalities. Rob has Decades of experience learning and teaching jujitsu. He has a very comprehensive and detailed approach to the art. Whether you’re learning for self defense or to compete in the art, he is a great person to learn from. I highly recommend his school for all levels of experience.
