I really wish I would have seen some of these negative reviews (go see Yelp) before I engaged this company to protest my property taxes. They saved me absolutely nothing and somehow managed to settle on an agreement to knock $48 off of my total appraised value. It is completely obvious to me that no effort was made to lower my appraised value, and this was confirmed when after months of trying to get some engagement from the company, I finally saw some of the documentation of the "evidence" they presented at the hearing. Novotny & Co. have taken care of filing our property tax protest for many years. They let me know it is that time of year and all I do is forward any paper work I receive in regards to tax increases and I fill out a very straight forward inquiry about changes to the property. They take care of all the dead lines and hearings. Next thing is I receive an invoice that reflects the amount of money Novotny has saved me and a very reasonable % of the savings. I have been Novotny for years and I have the lowest property taxes in my neighborhood
I have used their services since 2012 and they have saved helped reduce my property tax when I was unsuccessful on my own. Excellent customer service, very professional and patient when explaining the process to those of us who don't really know the intricacies of property tax. I strongly recommend them! Well worth it.
