Recently went to Yorkville Damara for a Massage, Head spa and facial. The new owners have done a wonderful job with upgrades . The lounge is very cozy and relaxing. The RMT was exceptional and very experienced in what she does. My facial and head spa was relaxing and calm. The estaticians are well experienced and Great at what they do. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed to learn that Nova Spa went into receivership and, under Damara’s new ownership, only 50% of gift card values were honoured before discontinuing them altogether as of December 2024—without any courtesy notice to guests. While Shannon provides excellent facials, losing nearly $200 in gift cards (from an original $750) demonstrates a lack of value for patrons. Based on these business practices and principles, I will not return. Management should recognize the importance of respecting its customers.
All the staff were lovely and super sweet! I was 5 minutes late and they were still able to do the service! However, I wouldn't recommend any of the head spa services if you have curly/textured hair. I went in with it fully detangled in braids; however, the staff weren't used to it and kept making small comments about how difficult it was, which made me slightly uncomfortable. Such a fantastic experience in Damara. I usually do facial in here this time I asked for aromatheray and they offered a massage on top! I loved the aromatherapy combined with massage at Damara. It was so relaxing like it took me out of this world. The area is impeccable clean and esthticians are so kind that allways make sure that I am well taken care of and satisfied with the services. I didn't name estheticians because they are all so good. Thank you Damara! Highly recommendeed.
