Average pizza at best among other issues. Called to order a slice and was told "you have to order slices in person". Ok, no problem. Arrived 10 minutes after attempting to call in an order for a slice only to be told, "we're out of slices". Was that something you couldn't mention over the phone? Won't ever be coming back and will advise everyone I know to avoid this place.
The perfect tavern style pizza. Unlike most spots that are shooting for cracker thin and crispy, Novel's tavern pies have a thicker base. This provided a fuller, more satisfying bite while still retaining the lightness and the crispy bottom. With high-quality ingredients that you can taste and the option to purchase by the slice, easy 5.
The pizza is bomb. So glad I discovered this place. Get the pepperoni pizza with ricotta dollops. Trust me.
Got a half and half tavern style for lunch today and it came out perfect! Maybe the best pizza I've ever had? They even called when it was almost ready and were super friendly on the phone and in person. We will definitely be coming back.
