Absolutely horrible experience with DKI. We lost our home in Sept 2022 due to a fire. DKI was the company our insurance set us up with, and at first it seemed like they knew what they were doing and we were in good hands. A few months in they became very unresponsive, and the only person I was able to get in touch with after months of trying was an admin member who from what I could understand from her was taking on more work than she should because there was no one else to do it. Same as other reviewers, poor communication, no one answering the work phone number, no paging service, no one answering their cell. Appointment made with a two hour window, called last minute informing us there were "issues" and it would take another 2.5 hours. No one still showed up or contacted us. Horrible company representating disaster relief. I would not recommend

I recently needed remediation of water damage at my condo. Unfortunately, I had to pay out of pocket but having dealt with DKI many times before on other properties we own, I decided to proceed with them. I mostly dealt with Steve Martel and Sarah Boyer at reception. Overall, I was really impressed with how well the company managed expectations (especially Steve and Sarah), how quickly they did the work and how well it was done.
