I have several interactions and visits to this facility so I can give a pretty good review of all those things which are repeatedly occurring: The Good: Nice clean facility, experienced staff. NP Nakawala is the best, she is patient, detailed and experienced. I keep returning just because of her. This is the best office UVA Health Bull Run Family Medicine has. The staff is exceptional. Dr. B is amazing. She listens, asks questions, she involves you as the patient. Dr. B is very thorough in diagnosis and treatment.
I would like to share my recent experience regarding my appointment. I was called in about 20 minutes after my scheduled time. After the nurse completed my measurements and questions, I was asked to wait for the doctor in the room. The doctor came in 25 minutes later. This visit was for my annual check-up, yet the doctor spent a maximum of 2 minutes in the room—only because I asked a few questions at the end. Dr Christopher Kim is the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever met. I had my one year old son with me seeking care. I also am a remote worker and looked at my phone a couple times. He refused me care mid session stating I was disrespectful and proceeded to debate with me and talk down to me like a child. Zero empathy, or bedside manner.
