Dr. Sifford endangers patients I am a patient of Kara Sifford in Haymarket. She prescribed Losartan and Atorvastatin which have been keeping my blood pressure at a healthy level for years. When I do not take the medication, my blood pressure is dangerously high. Dr. Sifford's office has informed me that they will not be writing any life saving Losartan or Atorvastatin prescriptions until I come in for an appointment despite the prescriptions being on my current medications list. I've been coming here for several years and have no issues with the services provided. But twice they have failed to follow up with me for appointment requests, even after acknowledging receipt of such. I have been left waiting a half hour after my initial exam for a nurse to take blood. One time they called me, put me on hold, and I never heard back. No idea what that was about. Time to find a new provider.
I don’t get the negative reviews personally. I’ve been seeing Dr. Siford and no complaint. Very accommodating when it comes to scheduling, the reception is respectful and informative.
I have been a patient of Dr. Biragoni for many years, i have always felt as though i was treated with professionalism and thoroughness. She listens and i am confident that she is a good doc who cares about her patients.
I met with the nurse practitioner this morning at the Haymarket location and it was a frustrating and very unhelpful experience. Since she told me that I was not understanding her and instead of using empathy or seeking to understand the disconnect, she told me we were not a good match and to find a different provider.
