The infusion center is a complete nightmare. I would have rather driven further to get appropriate care. Despite my referral being marked as urgent, it took 2 weeks to get scheduled (I had to call Novant to get on the schedule). They booked me for a week later. The nurse that seemed to be running the infusion clinic (Sheena maybe?) was so unpleasant, she is in the wrong profession if she is inconvenienced by working with patients. I had a CT Scan done on my neck at the Pender location. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionists, then taken to the imaging waiting area immediately. I didn't even wait 5 minutes before I was escorted to have the scan done. The technician talked me through every detail and checked on me regularly to make sure I was comfortable. I usually panic during CT Scans and MRI's, but didn't have an issue this time. I received the results on MyChart 15 minutes after leaving the facility.
