Karen Richter cares for me with empathy, respect and compassion. There is no one else like her; she treats your body, mind and spirit. She understands complex chronic illnesses and the impact they can have on a former highly functional individual. She works well with interdisciplinary care teams to work towards wellness. Additionally, she coordinates local therapies and treatments. Dr. Richter spends quality time with me and ensures that all of my needs are addressed.
ASTHMATICS BEWARE: I have asthma and they refuse to refill my prescription for my EMERGENCY INHALER because they want me to waste time and money sitting in their office first. I am not overdue for any shots, tests, or other check-ups, but they insist that in order to get the medication I need, I need to first make an appointment. In fact, Amber told me that unless I make an a appointment, they will not refill the prescription. I will most certainly make an appointment Parkside Family Medicine - with another doctor!
