There were mix-ups with lab orders when transferring from one provider to another, as the automated system kept sending me reminders to have labs drawn. When I arrived at the lab, there were no orders and I had to walk from the hospital to the clinic (on campus) because lab staff could not contact the clinic by phone. The doctor could not answer my questions and took me off a daily med only after I asked if it was still safe to keep taking it.
