T1 diabetic here, avoid this place if want to actually be able to get the correct insulin or dosage sent into a pharmacy. It’s been an issue down here trying to get ANY doc so far to correctly right a script for the insulin I use and have used for the last ten years to a great success. This time they gave me 43 days worth of insulin out of a 50 day pharmacy period. That’s a solid week of me being without insulin because someone can’t do math. DO NOT GO TO NOVANT HEALTH IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SCAMMED OUT OF MONEY AND PAY MORE OUT OF POCKET. Novant Health and the Novant Billing department are the worst. I do not trust their services or billing integrity. They will check your benefits and eligibility but not inform you if the specific location or provider is considered out of network. The billing department makes errors in its claims submissions. They will not make any corrections, no matter how much documentation and proof you provide. The billing department will ... read more

I have been a patient of Novant South Brunswick Calabash since moving here years ago .Recently when I was sick I called to get in to see my PRIMARY Care physician, which to Novant means a Family Nurse Practitioner. I was told I could not be seen because I was sick and if in their opinion have covid like symptoms they cannot see you(everything seems to fall in the covid like symptoms these days). I love this facility. Been going since it opened. I’ve had to change practitioners a couple times over the years but everyone has been great.
