I was in the emergency Dept. With my husband. People were nice, but had the worst infection control,practices I have seen. There was no hand sanitizing, the doctor touched sterile items with his dirty hands prior to use, he used tap water instead of sterile water to add to a surgical scrub solution, didn't clean the top of a medication vial prior to using it. The nurse dropped pills on top of the computer table, picked them up with her unwashed hands and handed them to my husband. Thank goodness for antibiotics! I felt like ... read more
This is by far the worst experience with a hospital and hat I have ever encountered. They are very short staffed. No patient care. I have watched my sister in agony for 2 hours. I have had to call out for the nurse several times. She was in a room for 3 hours with breathing difficulties before I practically had to make someone check her vital signs. I cannot believe this!!!!!!!!
