Larry is super friendly and knowledgeable. He was very helpful and up front with what to expect with the warped maple planks I brought to have him flatten for me. I learned a lot and had a great time! I look forward to working with Larry in the future with more slabs and planks as I figure out my sawmilling skills.

I expected my work to be way more expensive, but for him to sand flat a pretty badly cupped edge-glued board, he did a great job! He can sand pieces up to 32 inches wide, i believe, and got mine done in an hour. $25 minimum, $75 an hour with a small cleaning fee if the wood is super pitchy. Altogether, I paid about $85 for several runs, all the way down to 120 grit, for about 24 board feet. I am very happy with how it turned out. Larry was a very nice and knowledgeable fellow too!
