Dr. Samouhi was kind, knowledgeable, very straightforward. He was able to do the extraction same day quick and painless. All the nurses and staff were extremely kind and made me feel safe. I highly recommend this place. Only downside is the building has paid parking and there’s no validation.
I initially found Nova because the surgeon that many use in my area was not for me. I had a great consultation and set up my surgery date for all 4 wisdom teeth (I am in my 40's). They gave me the full layout of cost, insurance and my part. They did call me to say some of my insurance had been used to I would owe a little more, which I was good with. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable billing practices. At our initial consultation in August, we were explicitly told that our insurance would cover a wisdom teeth extraction. However, on the day of the procedure, we were suddenly told we had to pay out of pocket. We immediately provided proof that our insurance company had made an error and that the procedure should have been covered. First of all the office was very clean and nice. I had a wisdom tooth removed. The office staff was very kind,nice, and it doesn’t take that long. But after there is some pain although. It sounds scary but it isn’t really. In the end it was a ok experience . 9.5/10
