We have a huge tree in our backyard that we love. The problem is, it is right over our main sewer line, so the roots inevitably made it in after 125 years. Everyone we called previously to fix the root intrusion said we would need to tear the tree down. Three days after moving into our house our main sewer line backed up into our basement. Three different companies told us they couldn’t find any clog, and our issue was the grade of the pipe so we would need to tear it out and redo it. NOVA Lining came out, spent hours scoping and then snaking the pipe. They found the pipe collapsed in the road and that none of the previous companies had looked that far down the pipe. NOVA lining is an amazing company that saved me thousands of dollars and resolved an ongoing sewer issue I have had since owning an old row house in DC for 4 years. We had a local plumbing company try to figure out why our basement toilet wouldn’t flush properly, they said it was fixed only to have trouble 2 weeks later.
