This may quite literally be the best food I’ve eaten in Ithaca. Period. I was actually blown away with the meal - perfectly cooked and seasoned. It’s (in my opinion) about the best Lao-Thai food you can get anywhere. I did experience a bit of a wait, as others have flagged. But the owners are wonderful people and I expect this to improve as they get more experience at this restaurant. Best of the best of Ithaca, by far.
I’ve heard the wait can be bad, but so long as you are prepared for that the food is very good
We waited for an hour for our food and it never arrived! We asked the server how long it would take, and he said they hadn’t even begun cooking even after an entire hour! Ridiculous and a huge waste of time.
The wife and I stopped in for a weekday meal and had a FANTASTIC meal! Everything was great, but I highly suggest the peanut sauce and the wild caught salmon (particularly with the Pad Thai). They were really exceptional!
