I worked for Nots logistics in Marion, Illinois and was just fired all because I had to pick my wife up at work. I was given no warning. When I asked why I was fired I was told that I was fired because I did not stay for overtime and did not know it was mandatory. My supervisor told me that overtime was approved yesterday but did not say it was mandatory or we would be fired. They say it's a family like company and I will say that's is not true what so ever. In 30 working days I will be retiring from NOTS Logistics. The Culture of Caring is not just a slogan, it's reality. NOTS Logistics cares very much about the community, co-workers and customers. I leave this company a much better person and take great pride in working with so many professional people. To Andy and Karen I just want to say thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. Oh, and the bowling team...The ITA...And the many outingings (for company relations of course)

This truck literally ran me off the road. I blew repeatedly and it would not yield. It was also driving at a high rate of speed and swerving. My issue is that whoever was driving could have gotten over behind me. We were both travelling on 255N, exiting to 64. I was going to be traveling west and the truck took the east exit. It is so sad that there's no regard for others. In addition, when we entered the highway, he jumped in front of another truck that was trying to exit the highway.
