This place was filthy. I stopped at about 11:40am this morning. There wasn’t a soul in the place. I had to wait several minutes before any employee even came out front to help me. The floor was so sticky that I was still sticking to the floor of the next store I stopped in because of the residue left on the bottom of my shoes from this place. I gave this location another chance since I was there (Im from Odessa) and both times I went the cakes were gross and dry. I will continue to get my cakes in Odessa!!!
I went to this location because I was on vacation and saw they had the pineapple upside down bundtlets. I purchased a s'mores and the pineapple upside down and both were so dry and tasted old. I had spoke with the manager and she basically called me a liar stating " if that was true there would of been other people complaining" I will never return to this location while I'm in Midland visiting family. Horrible. Ordered Thursday morning online for a cake to be picked up at 6:15pm. Arrived there on time with the door locked and the lights on. I tried banging on window. Approximately at 6:35pm, shortly after their closing, I see the lights going out. So I hopped in my vehicle and wrapped around the building to see if I could reach the employees in time. Excellent customer service! This is our “go-to” for birthday cakes and they are consistently delicious! I had a situation where I thought I placed an order for a birthday cake and when we arrived to pick it up it was not ready and I realized my mistake (that I selected the wrong date). They were incredibly understanding and accommodating to help me whip up a birthday cake with decorations in no time.
