To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. It is really terrible. Do not come here.
Solid place for cakes if you are looking for something sweet and tasty, perfect for special occasions such as birthdays, neighborhood potlucks, or a holiday dessert gift. It’s a chain, so there are several locations throughout the Bay Area. Large free parking lot at the Millbrae location makes it easy for pickups.
This location has rolled out shrinkflation; their bundlets are 2/3rd the normal size (see photo). Tastes great as always but if you want a full cake head to san carlos.
Cream cheese frosting is life! The cakes are always moist and sooooo delicious. Even just the plain vanilla is divine! I like to order online the night before and pick-up the next day. If you order extra frosting, CHECK THAT THEY REMEMBERED before leaving. Join their birthday club ... you'll get a free bundtlet every year for your special day. It's the size of 2-3 cupcakes. YUM!! Parking is easy and free here.
I have to say by far this was some of the worst service I have ever received. The girl at the front desk was extremely rude to me. She treated me like I was some type of criminal. She did not want to help at all. All the questions I asked were answered with one word answers. I asked if she can make them look nice like put a bow since it offered nice decorations for an additional $2 and she said we don’t do that. She clearly wanted me out the store.
