In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. These are the most fabulous, tasteful and moist cakes I have ever tasted. My girls got me one for Mother’s Day and it was so darn good so if you ever want a great cake, this would be the place to get it. My kids took me out to dinner and I had people asking me as I was leaving the restaurant where the cake was from and they were actually interested in going and getting a cake. Best day ever.
I called a two days before a friend’s birthday to ask if I needed to pre-order a cake. They assured me that I did not as they always had that flavor and size in stock and ready to go. I went in to get it and they were out of the 8” and said it would be 20 mins for them to get one ready. I explained that I had been told on the phone they were always ready and because I planned my time around that could they make an exception and give me the other size for the same price. Their cakes are the best, and customer service is always top notch.
EDIT: They have refunded the money on the cakes, so all is well. Good customer service and even though I had a bad experience honestly the cakes still taste pretty good so I'll be back. My first negative instance with this establishment was the fact that they open at 10 AM and I was waiting around for the store to open. The employees didn’t open the store until 10:09. I had to call after waiting outside at the door for several minutes. Seems that they lost track of time but unprofessional. I’m also tired of them only making a small amount of their specialty flavors. Most of the time they are “out” before people have time to get there after work. Disappointing service.
