I usually stop here pretty often and so yesterday, I wanted to get a lemon blueberry cake, but when I arrived the girl at the counter told me that they were baking/cooling off. I let her know that it was fine and that I could come back after visiting another shop in the area, but when I asked when would be a good time to come back, she simply gave me a “I don’t know” and just kept giving me that answer. For the past yr or so I had suspected something was different about this bakery. Just wasn’t the same after Covid. (Bakery was acquired in 2021 by Roark Capital.) And the prices went up- way up! That small NBcake went up to $8 bucks. Thanks any way but NO!
The Most Delicious Amazing Cake 💕💕💕💕
We ordered a two-tiered cake — half gluten free, half regular. When we got there to pick it up, it looked like the frosting had melted a bit, but they told us this up front and offered to fix it for us. They were so apologetic and SO nice about it. We were totally fine with it and we understand that these things can happen sometimes! We were just appreciative that they offered to fix it!
