We received two bundtlet cakes from a friend for a birthday gift. She bought them from the South Plainfield store. Both cakes were gluten-free. It says on the website that the gluten-free cakes are made in a communal oven, so don't get them if you have Celiac's. The cakes are delicious, but the biggest problem is the heat isn’t on in the middle of February. I told the girl behind the counter that the heat isn’t on and she’s like “Yeah..” I’m sure she doesn’t want to stay in a cold store like the customers, any way turn up the heat, store owner. What are you saving like 10 dollars a day? But making it an uncomfortable experience for your customers. I ordered a strawberry cake for my husband’s birthday. It wasn’t edible at all. It was watery from inside and tasted disgusting. I believe they are freezing the cake and defrosting when sold. We had to throw out the whole cake. Waste of money! Do not buy from them!!!
Lovely experience here! Placed an online order and was pleased with everything. The place is also extremely clean and the workers are friendly. Highly recommend!
