I found a boat that I was interested in Boattrader and sent in a request to get more info. I heard back from Dan who said he was the broker. He said he would not be meeting me to show me the but the sellers would be meeting me at the marina on a Sunday. Dan emailed me to confirm the time several days before the meeting. We purchased our 2007 39 Tiara from Norwood Yacht Sales in September 2014. They made it a very easy transaction. After we closed they coordinated delivery and two weeks later the boat was detailed at our slip in Westerly, RI. We love the boat!
Great brokerage outfit. I bought a 41 Carver from Norwood Yacht in 2013. I remember the old Norwood Marine in Dorchester. They were a Bertram/Chris Craft dealer that I bought my first boat a 362 Chris from in 1985. This company has been around for years and these guys know everything there is to know about boats. Dan sold my boat for me last year and helped me find my new Silverton and worked the deal for me. Both he and Stew were available at all times and made the buying and selling process very easy. They coordinated the survey, performed the sea trial for me, and got everything wrapped up quickly.They also hooked me up with a great mechanic and detailer. I would highly recommend using Norwood Yacht to buy or sell your boat.
