I had a wonderful experience with Norwood Yacht Sales in selling my 2001 46 Hunter sailboat. I first met Stew when he sold me a 46 Formosa Ketch. Over the years we saw each other at boat shows and on the docks so I decided to list the Hunter 46 with his office. I worked with Stewart Roach to sell my boat. Although we were able to find a buyer, he was so unprofessional throughout the entire experience. The entire thing was way more stressful than it should have been - then at the end he stalled with my payment?
Snake Oil Salesman - Stay away. Stew is a liar and thief. He advertised my boat had twin 420 HP High Output motors and I paid a premium over another boat to get them. Come to find out my boat has twin 370 HP. When I presented it to him to get a refund, he says it's my fault because my Surveyor didn't pick up on it. There were no engine markings, so how would he or I know? I found out when I registered the boat with Mercury Marine. Stew says he's not responsible for anything he tells you or advertises. Would not recommend this company very dishonest brokers lied about a boat that I drove to days to see. Boat buyers beware
Very dishonest company would not recommend them to anyone drove a very long ways to see a yacht that they listed and advertised as a sea worthy boat in good condition only to find out the boat was in poor condition it would not pass a survey when spoke to broker he said he didn't care if it passed a survey and in addition he also said he didn't care if it was a sea worthy vessel "would not recommend this company to anyone
I could not honestly recommend this company they were very dishonest on a listing we drove a long ways to see a boat.had survey finished we contacted this company and they said they did not care about the words sea worthy on a vessel or us coast guard standards so I wouldn't recommend buying a boat from this.
