This is the best institution in the State as far as I’m concerned. Staff are very knowledgeable and very professional. This is no picnic but it beats the rest of the state institutions I’ve been in before.
Experienced discrimination for being an Asian American by multiple people including Dr Yasmin and Jeff and many others. I made multiple incident reports of harassment and discrimination by staff and one based on a med error and they barely investigated my case. I almost died. I literally almost went into cardiac arrest with the medication Hannah provided and my blood started thinning and I went severely dehydrated I am lucky to be alive. They refused to take family member to ER after his gallbladder became infected, despite his being in pain, elevated BP, and known history of gallstones diagnosed while in THEIR care. Only when his skin turned yellow 3 days later did they allow him to be taken to the hospital. He nearly died because of the bile inflaming many of his organs and destroying a portion of his pancreas. Shameful.
After having a loved one here the first day started out okay. Or should I say the first 12 hours. That quickly went downhill. Upon visiting a loved one in Norwood Health Center here are a list of things wrong with the facility, including all unsafe, unsanitary, unprofessional practices and HIPPA violations; - Firstly, when visiting you are placed in the same area where they receive treatment and reside.
