Don’t take your family to this hospital. We’ve had 2 experiences at Norwest, first I was admitted with pneumonia (I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis so my immune system is non existent). I was left in a private room, nurses avoided me like I had the plague, cleaning services were non existent, I had to ask for toilet paper on 2 separate days with both times toilet paper was not given. Hi my name is Maurice Robb and I was a recent patient admitted 27/2/26 to the Orthopaedic ward , building C. I would sincerely like to thank Steph for the wonderful room, I suffer from acute claustrophobic bouts and upon learning of my fears she admitted me to a wonderful big room overlooking the outside views of Bella Vista. My sincere thanks and appreciation for your concern for my mental health in easing my very real fears. Thank you . Nursing staff over all were just the best. Good job guys . Thanks . Maurice a Robb.
The hospital is extremely disorganised. We were quoted a time to arrive and get a surgery done but we ended up having to wait 6 HOURS and got discharged at 1am. The price you pay is also very unreasonable and we were sent another invoice after the surgery was done for extra items (600 extra which is too much to be an additional cost after)
Excellent facilities
Nurses are horrible to you and speak to you like an animal. I was slower to wake up with anaesthesia and one of the nurses yelled at me straight after my surgery and told me to wake up and shook me so hard. I got a second opinion from another surgeon and he advised that for some patients, they wake up slower and that’s completely normal. Completely unprofessional and she is so rude and needs to be fired. To yell at a vulnerable patient is disgusting and she needs her AHPRA registration cancelled.
