Brought my daughter in for a sore throat the lady working was behind. She started a Covid test and a strep test on her and unlike all the times I have been here before she asked us to step back out to the waiting area and took another patient back into the same room that my daughters test were being run in. And now I’m sitting here an hour later waiting on the other person to come out so we can go back in. I don’t think I’ll ever be back because this was so unprofessional on so many levels..
I went in with on day 3 of a very sore throat and mild fever. I was very sure I had strep throat. I had looked in my throat that morning and I had white spots on my tonsils you could only see if I was holding my tongue back. The MA that swabbed me for strep didn’t touch my tonsils or throat, only the middle area of my tongue so of course it came back negative which resulted in a diagnosis of something viral.
