As part of the construction on our road, a piece of our hedge had to be dug out and temporarily placed on our front lawn. I assumed that when Northwoods Sodding came around to put people's lawns back together that they would put the hedge back in the ground. When I did not see that happen I approached the foreman and kindly asked if he could please do this for us. He replied by saying "I won't replant it for you. I'm not getting paid for that."
