This office has a HUGE problem with Anthem. Not Northern Light in general, just this particular office. They are trying to get their elderly patients to leave Anthem and sign up for some newfangled medicare advantage plan from the internet. When we make the phone calls to ask about this new plan, there's no one at the plan's office who can answer any question for at least a week. Was your PCP switched without your consent? If so, the problem now can be fixed but you'll have to call your insurance company. Might take a few hours of arguing with Anthem to fix the HUGE clerical error this office made. Has a request for medical records not been filled? The State, the military, and insurance companies are increasingly demanding copies of medical records and causing problems in your life when this doctor's office fails to have them delivered. Was your PCP switched without your consent? If so, it was caused by a paperwork error made by the manager of this office. She fixed the root cause of the problem but that didn't undo the unexpected PCP changes. Unfortunately you still might have to call your insurance company to change back to your preferred Primary Care Physician. But at least now it can be done.
