Was your PCP switched without your consent? If so, the problem now can be fixed but you'll have to call your insurance company. Also, did your provider issue instructions to schedule a follow-up appointment? The scheduling staff might not know. They have a internal "note" system that failed on my last visit. It's different from the written "Instructions From Your Provider" on the visit summary sheet. Was your PCP switched without your consent? If so, it was caused by a paperwork error made by the manager of this office. She fixed the root cause of the problem but that didn't undo the unexpected PCP changes. Unfortunately you still might have to call your insurance company to change back to your preferred Primary Care Physician. But at least now it can be done. The worst!! Lucky if they ever pick up a phone, that is ringing right next the them.. you can be standing In The office and call, and watch them ignore it..
