Northwind Solar installed an Emporia Energy monitor at our home. Thanks for accommodating our wonky service panel setup, and special thanks to Robin for helping us identify the appliances/outlets and receptacles on our otherwise confusing panel. We enjoy the monitoring app provided, and it's already fun to see which appliances are drawing the most power. I used Northwind for solar installation since 2009 on needs in three houses from installation on two and service on a third. I have been happy with their work and especially communication.
Installation done last fall (just getting to review them now!). Very happy with the service. Staff were friendly and very easy to work with. So far the panels are working great, initial connection issues was promptly reviewed (i was actually not even aware of the issue, they informed me) and easily corrected.
We had solar panels installed by Northwind Solar in 2022. At the time of installation, our roof was inspected and we were told no repair or replacement was necessary. I specifically asked what would happen when the roof eventually needed replacement and was told the panels would need to be removed and reinstalled, which had seemed to be blown off as no big deal.
