We had an appraisal done, for a refinance on a 4 unit apartment building , on March 3,2020. Our lender deals with Appraisal Nation. They hired Northwind for this job. K. Bruce Synder was the appraiser. Bruce showed up and I personally walked him through every apartment. He took some pictures of every unit but never took out a tape measure to check square footage. At the end of the walk through of the 4 apartments, and a 277sqft mechanical room , I asked Bruce how he would get the square footage. He said he would be using pub... read more
Bruce is lazy and doesn't want to put in the effort to complete a thorough appraisal, even when he is handed the data from a lender. He is not qualified to perform a multi unit appraisal.
