Northwestern Life Insurance is a terrible company. My wife had a policy that she paid premiums on for years and finally cancelled. She sent in four cancellations and told her agent to cancel it. We stopped getting statements and assumed that it was cancelled. We get a bill from the IRS saying that we had over three thousand in income from Northwestern.
